ADHD Intervention Review

Does your child have an ADHD intervention plan... but you're not sure it's the right one?

A thorough review, with a specialist, to know for sure if the path you are following is leading your child where they should be — and what to do if it isn't.

Video call · 1:1 · Limited spots available per week

Duration: 2 hours

THE POINT MANY PARENTS ARE AT TODAY

The question is not, "Does my child have ADHD?"
Is
the intervention they are receiving the correct one?

They already have a diagnosis (or suspect it), but no one explained to them why the intervention they are receiving was chosen and not another.

They received a diagnosis but were only presented with pharmacological intervention options.

They have been investing in therapies, medication or "plans" for months, and they don't see any clear progress.

The specialist who treats them speaks little or no Spanish, and they feel that important nuances are being missed.

School, pediatrician and therapist give them different recommendations, and they don't know who to listen to.

They still don't have a diagnosis and don't know where to start, or what kind of professional to look for.

You keep wondering if all that effort is really bringing your child closer to a more independent and successful life.

The greatest risk for a child with ADHD is not always a late diagnosis.

It is remaining for years in therapies that are not addressing what you really need and that at the same time is leaving a gap in intervention in other aspects.

what it is and what it is not

An expert and independent review of the intervention, not the diagnosis

This is it!

An assessment of whether the current intervention (therapies, accommodations, attention training, behavioral management, medication combined with therapy) is appropriate according to scientific evidence.

Guidance on how to access a diagnosis if you don't already have one, and which specialists to look for.

Specialized attention to organize your care history and receive in a practical and understandable way the current situation of your child.

This is not

It is not a formal diagnostic assessment of ADHD.

It does not replace the current treatment team; it is an external review that complements it.

A consultation to prescribe or modify medication.

A therapeutic intervention.

Why this is important

What to expect from the date?

We will prepare to assist you, reviewing previous assessments, care and progress reports, and integrating the results into the final report you will receive.

In session we will analyze observed symptoms or difficulties (academic, organizational, social), relevant information on development and schooling, the main challenges at home and your questions.

You will receive advice on your reason for consultation and intervention guidelines, guidance on assessments if necessary, and follow-up instructions.

Following the care, you will receive a detailed care history report, with expanded information on what is working and what is not, specific intervention or accommodation recommendations, assessment guidance if needed, and follow-up instructions to know what the next step is.

What can you do before the session?

To prepare for the date, make a list of the following:

All the symptoms you notice or the problems they are causing, such as problems with schooling, organizational difficulties, or with your social relationships.

Main challenges at home regarding associated behavior or symptoms.

You can ask questions at any time . I recommend preparing and anticipating your questions to make the most of the session time.
